What is included in the shipping costs?

Shipping and handling costs are for the fragile protection of glass bottles and fresh ingredients. Shipping costs are $8 for up to two 5-oz bottles, $14 for 2–6 bottles.

Do you ship internationally?

Yes. International shipping is available. International shipping costs are additional depending on the destination country.

Why is Sabine's Hot Sauce more expensive?

Sabine's Hot Sauce is a handmade premium sauce with no artificial ingredients. The ingredients are from fresh fruits and vegetables. Each batch is made with lots of care and love.

What is your return policy?

We have a 30-day return policy. 

What if my shipment is damaged?

We will replace your order free of charge. Email a photo of the damaged product(s) in its original packaging and notify us of the damage. We will ship another package immediately.

How long will it last in the refrigerator?

We recommend you refrigerate the bottles upon use. The freshness of the pepper sauce usually lasts approximately 3 months or more.

How hot is it Hot?

Peppers are measured by Scoville Units (SHU). We typically use scotch bonnet peppers for the pepper sauce. A sweet bell pepper has 0 units. A Jalapeño pepper is ~2,500–5,000 units, Tabasco Jalapeño is ~7,000–8,000 units. Habanero is ~150,000–200,000 units. A Scotch Bonnet pepper is ~100,000–375,000 units.

What is the heat level of the Mild flavor?

The Mild has the same full flavorful taste of fruit and natural spices with a small hint of heat. We recommend for those with a less heat tolerance to simple marinate their favorite dishes with the Mild before cooking, any hotness will dissipate upon cooking.
